All profits from this track will go to Minnesota Freedom Fund; a charity designed to help pay criminal bails and immigrant bonds. Based on the foundation that "pay-to-play justice" is inherently unjust, benefiting rich people more than the poor, this charity is entirely necessary in the wake of the unjust murder of George Floyd. This charity will help to benefit PoC who are currently protesting this unjust case AND also help to support disadvantaged immigrants facing unreasonable jail time.

lyrics
Looking through your eyes,
All I see is the sorrow inside,
Have you ever asked why
We all try so hard to survive?
What you want, what you need, what you care for violence?
I can spit in your face but I pray for silence,
Never sever ties with the devil man, fail my endeavours when I try to stay clever man,
Tell ‘em, Fam,
Hide in your sweater so you can act like you’re better than
Whoever’s causing stress, makes you light as a feather, man,
That’s me like I yell with a tremor damn,
Sit down, try to keep it together man
Who’s that at the edge of my bed?
Who’s that black silhouette tryna come for my leg?
Make a boy do a pirouette and land and my head
When the devil claws his way through my every regret
Yeah I guess this is me, so I guess you can flee,
You can wish you can get all the best out of me,
Hope for the worst be surprised when I pull through,
Leave you cursed with regret when you break through
Looking through your eyes,
All I see is the sorrow inside,
Have you ever asked why
We all try so hard to survive?
Always caught between rage and attempts at fate,
But performing happy plays keep the world at bay,
Trap myself inside the theatre, keep the daylight out,
Feel the rags fall off my bones as I smile and pout,
Is identifying feeling just the start of death? I can’t pretend,
That I can’t feel my heart regress,
As I look upon the stage I in part descend,
Feel the limelight on my face as the party ends,
Like this final glimpse of me all I want you to see,
Watch the teardrops on my cheek as you watch with glee,
As the actor in the costume hears his heart call him dishonest,
The imposter feels his heart stop, now he’s freed
Farewell to my friends, look away while I bleed,
Look away from my weakness as I finally concede,
I tried to keep you from my secrets, now I beg you, I plead,
Don’t tell no one bout the shadow that you saw recede, it’s weak
